Throughout North America, EnviroGuard provides a comprehensive turnkey recycling process that begins with a site assessment, which identifies pillows that are in need of replacing. We utilize our nationwide network of dealers and distributors. This process is overseen by our in-house project management team to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements for transportation and recycling of our products. We also offer services for disposal of contaminated products with our National Waste Stream Disposal partner. Our program is design to issue a certificate of recycling for all your mission critical sites to ensure our products meet your environmental, health, safety, and sustainability policies and guidelines.

Additionally, in many cases EnviroGuard provides a buyback program for replacement pillows and will evaluate accepting competitive products on a case-by-case basis. This program is reserved for pillows that are non-contaminated and EnviroGuard replacement pillows are being procured.

We recommend that facilities perform an annual Site Assessment during battery maintenance utilizing our checklist for overall battery room compliance. We also recommended performing an annual Pillow Material Evaluation to ensure that the product is functional and to identify any replacement needs. Annual documented pillow inspections with EnviroGuard will maximize the recycling-buyback credit if eligible.

EnviroGuard has developed a Pillow Recycling and Buy-Back Program for Non-Contaminated pillows. The process is very simple. A simple Material Inspection & Evaluation Form needs to be completed along with a Non-Contaminated Profile. These documents can be sent directly to EnviroGuard at [email protected] for approval and an RMA number will be issued for the return. Customers will need to purchase the approved Recycling Buyback Boxes and liners that include pre-paid freight back to one of EnviroGuard's Recycling facilities.

For Pillow Replacements, an instant prorated credit is issued on the replacement pillows purchased based on the life of the pillows being recycled. For Recycling Only, a material credit is issued for future orders and is also prorated based on the life of the pillow.

Whether contaminated or non-contaminated, strict DOT/EPA regulations require proper management and chain of custody paper trails to confirm DOT/EPA approved transportation and disposal procedures are being followed to avoid potential fines and penalties. This program provides for a Certificate of Compliance and proof of approved handling.
