FIT 1- Spill Containment Installation

This course presents a proven process for installing EnviroGuard's UL Listed spill containment systems that incorporate the latest technologies. Proper installation techniques are covered to ensure the system will be liquid-tight and reliable and maintain UL integrity. This 30 min session covers the description of the various components, tools required and procedures that minimize installation time. Installation technicians will be able to confidently install EnviroGuard's spill containment systems for flooded, VRLA, battery cabinet and relay rack applications.

FIT 2- Retrofit Installation

Many lead-acid battery systems in operation today do not have a passive spill containment and acid neutralization system. Although spill containment is not new and the codes for spill containment of lead-acid battery systems have been around for many years, the number of requests for retrofitting an existing battery system with spill containment has increased. This course presents a proven technique and procedure to ensure minimal labor, maximum system integrity and a reliable, liquid-tight containment system.

FIT 3- Pillow Replacement

This comprehensive training course presents a proven process for replacing battery neutralization and absorption pillows in existing spill containment systems underneath standby power battery systems. Pillows should be replaced when worn, damaged, or during battery replacement to maintain full performance of the UL Listed neutralization system. In addition, pillow replacement may be required to upgrade to FM Approved pillows as required by FM Global and other commercial insurance companies.
