Protecting Battery Rooms During Earthquakes with EnviroGuard Seismic RacksWe at EnviroGuard understand the devastating impact of earthquakes on facilities. In battery rooms, seismic activity can cause major disruptions by knocking over battery racks, taking stored energy offline, and potentially leading to battery acid spills. That's why we designed the EnviroGuard Flooded Rack, the industry's first tri-certified (NEBS Zone 4, IBC 2012 and IEEE) seismic-rated battery rack. We're the only company to achieve this triple certification for Essential Facilities because we weld our racks together, giving them the strength to withstand significant seismic activity. We've proven this durability by testing our racks, loaded with batteries exceeding 11 tons, on a triaxle shake test table that simulated a 9.9-magnitude earthquake on a 100-story building.
